Dried Leaves Etching
The second print in The Botanical Etchings Collection.
The full collection is made up of four of my most technically perfect zinc-plate etchings. I completed these prints whilst in residence at The University of Pretoria in 2012 where I studied my honours in Fine Arts. I vaguely remember something about fleeting time and the beauty that remains that led me to illustrate four botanical specimens, dead and dried but still spectacularly beautiful.
